One of Youneeq’s biggest advantages is the ability to seamlessly integrate targeted recommendations into any website. Of course, with the wide variety of content management systems available today, it can be difficult to keep track of the various ways in which websites store and retrieve their data – there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
A more refined integration is easier to work with for both the development team and our clients, and with the world’s most popular CMS, WordPress, now powering nearly 20% of all websites, it’s obvious that we need to find a better way to interact with WordPress based websites.
That’s the purpose of the Youneeq plugin for WordPress – a plugin that makes it easy for website owners to integrate Youneeq’s recommendations into any WordPress-based website. With the plugin, many formatting and data retrieval options that would ordinarily require manual script editing can be changed using a simple menu. Greater control over the appearance of the recommendations is possible by adding simple CSS rules.
The plugin works with WordPress’s API rather than simply working around the CMS, but websites running the WordPress plugin can still coexist with non-WordPress sites on any given network and serve cross-site recommendations. We are already using the Youneeq plugin on several WordPress based sites, with promising results.
